Having 5 years experience as a freelance graphic, and illustration artist, and 10 years experience working in the social sector; my work focuses primarily on helping my community by doing art reach projects. The goal of these projects is to support disenfranchised populations such as the homeless and other marginalized communities through using visual mediums. How? I use collaborative art projects, such as the Mustard Seed mural done here in Calgary Alberta, to support clients of the shelter to build their skills, build confidence, and improve quality of life.

I also use art to create free mental health and spiritual health resources.

I can even do group and/or one on one sessions where I use art to capture what a person is communicating rather than traditional text based note taking. This visual method of capturing notes is a more effective way of getting a snapshot of what someone has just said, which can easily be copied and printed into a resource for an individual or group to take home afterwards.
