I am a UI/UX designer and an Assistant Professor in the Graphic Design & Interactive Media program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout where I teach Intro to Web Design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and User Experience Design courses.

I graduated with my MFA in Graphic design from Louisiana State University in summer 2020. I have also earned a Master’s in visual communication from the Art University of Tehran, the biggest art institute in Iran, and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Tehran, Iran's most prestigious university.

My UI/UX design journey started by working at a start-up tech company and was reinforced by working at several formidable E-Commerce companies in Iran. I got to work within the agile framework and learned about sprints, scrum meetings, project/task management tools (Jira), and team communication platforms (Slack). I also experienced working and communicating with back-end, front-end, and mobile developers; product owners; and CTOs/higher-level managers.
