Visual communication is my strength. While I often originate a design with pen and paper, I am also highly trained in Adobe Creative Suite and the range of MS Office Applications, and learn the best from other software. This year I completed a training in UI / UX design.
With more than 20 years experience as a graphic designer, I communicate complex ideas, concepts and campaigns with clarity and impact. I produce graphic materials following branding and style guidelines (layout and typography). I am experienced in editing and creating infographics, data visualisations, and adapting drawing styles to a proposed visual aesthetic. Coming from the deadline-driven world of newspapers, I am used to working swiftly and accurately on high-priority assignments.
