Molly Stout

I am Molly, I am a UX designer currently working as an assistant karate instructor, piano instructor, and freelance visual artist and web designer. Being experienced with 9+ years of teaching and supervision, I understand the importance of communication and being able to phrase and rephrase to suit different people or users.

A lot of my freelance work helps me to understand market conventions, as well as iterate on past designs keeping to a brand identity or design system. My previous positions at PhotoPros as the Director of Operations and Product Manager led me to my pivot to UX design because of my enjoyment of working with developers and software engineers, praised “superpower” of deep analysis and problem solving, and thirst for a more creative and artistic application of my skills.

There is nothing more rewarding than finding a solution, applying it, and having a visual representation of everything coming together.
