Hello! My name is Michael Lurry and I love illustration and design. I studied cartooning at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and have been freelancing since the year 2000.
Currently, I’ve been working 100% digitally, but my work doesn’t look computer-generated! I’m still able to maintain that warm, organic feel to my work that connects with kids and adults alike! Much of the work you see in this profile is paid client work.
Throughout my career I have collaborated with agencies such as National Library of Medicine, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Global Protection Corp., Behavior Works, AID Atlanta, the Sacramento Department of Health, Prince George's County Department of the Environment, and The Prevention Collabrative, LLC. I've also done work for Hunter College, Tommy Hilfiger, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the Audobon PA.
