Mayya Sultan

Mayya Sultan is a designer and illustrator based in Munich, where she lives with her partner and two children. She was born in Baku, Azerbaijan and after graduated as mathematician, attended Art College, which led to a career in publishing, design and advertising. Her designs have been used for greeting ware, Branding and in the tourism sector. Later Mayya branched out into freelance work and it was at that point that her approach became more illustrative. She also uses new digital techniques to bring her work to the forefront of current illustration creating colorful images, vivid strokes and some collage. At her free time she works also with vivid materials like acryl, oil and watercolor, use also mixed technique and collage.
