Biography
I have loved art, illustration, communication, and visual/verbal literacy from the first time I was introduced to drawing at the age of two.
Illustration and Design is an experience, not a job. It requires a certain amount of dedication and observation as well as exposure to many cultures. Fortunately, I have traveled almost all my life and worked as a design communicator and illustrator in Dublin, Ireland; England, UK; different parts of the USA; Abu Dhabi & Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; and Cairo, Egypt.
I work well within a team environment and on my own, where design strategy, conceptual thinking, and design theory help me understand, observe and analyze the particular project at hand. I have a Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications from The American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
