Marek Głowacki

I've Studied at the Institute of Art in Cieszyn (2002-07), where I'm runnig drawing and comicbook workshops. I've defended his PhD in 2016. In my creative work I've mainly deal with the problem of human image. I also deal with illustration, comics, graphic design. I'm an author of the educational comic book On the water cycle (CEE in Jastrzębie Zdrój); illustrations for the documentary film Luftwaffe 39 '(TVP); author's monograph S for Silesia - Superheroes in Silesia, awarded at the 12th Warsaw Book Fair and the 22th Poznań Book Fair. I'm a laureate of the International Drawing Biennale Tomasz Ostrowski, International Autumn Art Salon, twice awarded at the Work of the Year competition - award of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship. In the years 2013-14 I've received the grant of the Elizabeth Greenshields foundation.
