Each artwork Kana Mitsui creates is a story told in colour, texture, and form. Inspired by the stories hidden in everyday life and Japanese wild nature, she uses that connection to capture everything from the energy in the nature. Widely acclaimed for her unique perspective on self-expression and the creative process.
She is currently in charge of textile design at a major enterprise in Japan. She has 10 years experience as a graphic and editorial designer in Tokyo and has worked as a designer in advertising, web design, social media and jewelry for 15 years. At university I studied graphic design at Tokyo Zokei University. She was born and raised in Japan and love Japanese native plants and flowers.
