I have had a passion for graphic design for many years as a hobby to help out friends and friends of friends, but found that more and more of my time was being requested as a graphic designer, so decided to take it to the next level. Over the years I have taken various educational courses to build on my skill base in every area of graphic design of which was undertaken in my own time due to working full time.
I did my very first graphic design job in the 1990’s, this was for a friend of the families and comprised of designing a logo and various business forms for a home based crafts business, since then over the years I have carried out similar work for others but never for pay, it was just a hobby, something that I gained a great deal of enjoyment out of.
I moved my skills from publisher to the Adobe suite a couple of years ago, finding it easier to work with. I decided to educate myself with online courses as this was the truly only way to gain the education in my own time due to work commitments.
