Gordon Lewis

From an early age, I began playing music and drawing, always trying to find a way to
express myself and bring joy to others. I grew up in the countryside of northern Minnesota on a farm near the Canadian border, and I credit this orientation with helping me to develop my creative expression. Growing up in a rural area stimulated my creativity and caused me to develop innovative ideas since I was not immersed in a
sense of artistic cultural expression that you might see in a city. I think this has been a
positive concept for me, since I had to think of ways to create art and music while not being exposed to as many outer influences—and therefore, I could develop my own style.

Music and art are a way for me to express myself and to help others through that expression. I want to be able to move people with my artwork in a way that changes their mood in a positive direction.
