I’m Em, an Illustrator and Visual Designer in Portland, OR. My focus is Editorial and Event Illustration. I am a survivor of Domestic Violence and I take my life experiences into my work by using empathy, and at times a little bit of darkness to convey stories in a way that is relatable. I am a multi-media Queen- seasoned in digital and hand rendered work to best paint a picture and draw the eye to the heart of the content. My style is inspired by the contrast of bright and saturated colors, expressive lines, and human connection.
