Becks Rasmussen

Hi I am Becks, my pronouns are They/Them/She/Her. I really love UX/UI design, it combines my three favorite things, helping people, design, and research. UX/UI design allows me to make something that makes people feel content and is inclusive. My past experiences really make me an ideal UX/UI designer. At university, I spent the first two years studying graphic design and the last two studying sociology. I have worked in government doing research and verification. I am neurodivergent, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and now an immigrant, in a country where I don't speak the language well. My unique experiences have really helped me understand different viewpoints. I have taken my past experience and started my career in UX/UI design and my natural empathy has shined. As a UX/UI designer, I get to step into other people's shoes to really help them have the best experience and feel heard which is incredibly full filling. I love what I do
