Alexis Curry

I am currently enrolled in an intensive UX certification program in design foundations, processes, and tools. Through which I have experience in conducting user research, creating prototypes, giving and receiving feedback, and presentation. Building upon 10 years’ experience in Customer service and my life long love of art and web design, I am eager to apply my skills in user-focused problem solving and empathy to a new career as a UX Designer.

I've always loved to learn and explore new practices, so when I wasn't engaged at work I was at home teaching myself new skills and honing my crafts as a digital artist and a coding hobbyist. People have always been my focus, whether it was collaborating with coworkers, problem solving with customers or designing for my commissioners. So now with the mentoring I've received from Merit America's UX Design program, I'm refining these skills and seeking a career in UX where I can see my love for people, art and problem solving validated.
