Biography
Alice Gathe, a 21-year-old Economics and Statistics student at Kenyatta University, is a trailblazer in education and social impact. She is also a graphics designer from Africa Digital Media Institute. As a recipient of the Affecto Scholarship, she founded the Bold Girl Unite, a CBO that aims to empower young women. With three years of dedicated volunteering
at Affecto Foundation, Alice has become a global speaker, sharing her insights in Zanzibar, Thailand, Dubai, Turkey, and Rwanda. She has mentored over 1000 high school students at Affecto, Muthurwa Girls and Mirror of Hope. Alice has received prestigious awards, including Global Emerging Leader 2022 in Thailand and Global Youth Leader 2023 in Dubai. Alice is a beacon of inspiration and leadership in her community and beyond.
