Personal Logo Design

This is a new logo design I came up with to use for my personal website and brand - George Hester Design (GHD).

I wanted to create a very simple and minimalistic logo that could work well as both a brand mark and an icon that would require little or no modification.

As with any logo design, this was not the first concept I came up with. I experimented with various shapes, colors and ideas. I even tried to steer away from using the "GHD" monogram all together and go with something more abstract. But I kept coming back to the monogram style and it turned out to be kinda cool.

The version that I settled on was actually one of the earliest concepts I came up with, but required small tweaks and modifications before I ended up with what you see here. I carefully considered the tone, colors, spacing, sizing of the "H", and the adjustments to each corner radius all the way around the logo.

I feel like I did a great job coming up with something clean and original to represent my brand.
