The Retro Future | Logo Design

The Retro Future is a retro gaming channel on YouTube which focuses on restoring, repairing and enjoying retro gaming consoles and paraphernalia.

The channel has seen amazing growth since its inception in 2016 and the creator is working extremely hard to build a community of like-minded enthusiasts who work together to keep retro gaming alive in modern times.

I went through a few ideas but the 3rd picture were my favourites.

The final logo was inspired by the curved corners of retro gaming iconography melded with the idea of circuitry diagrams. I compressed these ideas into a "modern" icon or monogram to keep the brand mark compact and noticable at a glance.
