Ruling Pen Attempt #1

Page one, attempt one of my new toy, the ruling pen.

I've never used anything like it before, so I'm excited to keep practicing. It really is a unique and tricky little tool.

All of this was very quick and erratic writing, getting a feel of how the nib felt on the paper and how the ink displaced, but most importantly, trying not to smear my hand over the ink, being a lefty.

There's the odd one that i'm happy with, like the 'matt' in the shadow of the ink.
