Not perfect and brilliant
Not perfect and brilliant
Did you see The Irishman? It's got movie royalty all over it.
Scorsese, De Niro, Pacino, Pesci and Graham. Stephen Graham. 💘 This is England and The Virtues.💘 This is one of my favourite actors... I would've loved to see his reaction when he met those Hollywood giants. That's one helluva first day at work.
And he's scouse. And in The Irishman you can hear it. Yeh. I know. You really can. To an untrained American ear it's there. What must the locals think 🇺🇸? It cracks through as passion and getting lost in his character cranks up.
And still he's brilliant. Totally watchable and does only what he does best. (Love it when he gets angry.)
So this is a small tale about not being perfect and still being brilliant. And sometimes passion, honesty and truth weigh more than the pitch perfect detail.
