Videobeat is a company that produces data-driven video marketing. They were looking for a redesign of their website to reach a new target group: big companies and employees.

To start the project we decided to run a 3h Sprint workshop to be able to understand and gain relevant information about Videobeat. In the Sprint we talked about their target, we discussed their brand personality, values, USP and how do they want to be positioned in the market. The main learnings after the workshop were:

The website has to communicate the core of Videobeat, a mix of creativity, technology and data science. They produce videos, but also give their customers the possibility to measure their impact. They offer a holistic service as well: Consulting, creative, TV advertising, digital video, and analytics. They believe in being experts in their field.
There are two target groups: marketers, who are more interested in facts and numbers, and future employees who would like to see who the culture is, and their benefits.

To accomplish the goal of making an attractive website for marketers and future employers we worked hand to hand with the client collecting all the valuable information of the company and then transforming it into easy graphs to understand.

With the look and feel we wanted to transmit their professionalism and a clear USP message, that is why we did a clean design style. We used neutral colors like grey and white for the backgrounds and a light blue as their corporate color just for details and call to actions. Videobeat has the mix between technology and creativity, that is why we used san serif fonts for the tech aspect and big pictures to highlight their creative work.

A website should be always up to date, that is why in the back end the client has the possibility to upload information and edit it in WordPress.
