Hothead Logo Practice | Simplification Process

Couldn't find who owned the reference I used here so can't credit. I found the image on pinterest and immediately saved it for a design exercise. ⁣⁣

This is another one of those practices where I take a photo, sketch over it, discard details, simplify and refine it until it's boiled down to its simplest form. I'm calling this one Hot Head.⁣⁣

I absolutely loved this one and have recorded a process video which I'm gonna post here soon. I think I spent most time on the fire. The flow just wasn't sitting well with me. I go very deep into details and refine my designs until I think every shape, line and form flows perfectly. ⁣⁣
