---3/52--- The Ambassador Hotel

I’ll be honest, I picked this one purely for its incredible neon rooftop lettering. I’m a sucker for the vintage industrial look... and the Ambassador Hotel is a textbook example. Beyond the sign, this hotel has a lot of history. Originally built in 1928, it fell into decay in the 1980s.... But a decade long renovation brought it back to its original glory by 2005. It was a popular place for celebrities back in the day. People like Liberace.... The Beatles... and probably most famously, Jeffrey Dahmer. But I won’t open THAT can of worms. Check it out if you’re in town. You can’t miss it as you drive east into the city on Wisconsin Ave.
