Royal Institution Proposed Design

This was a proposed design for the Royal Institution in London, an organisation that promotes public engagement with scientific research and education.

My thinking behind this design was to maximise the use of video, as they have a wealth of high-quality video to use. The homepage hero includes an off-screen rotating video carousel, which switches places with the hero video itself (so in this example, the next video to fill the hero would be "how many precious metals are on your wrist?". The design also includes a mockup of a long-form content page.
