OM4 Men Skincare
-OM4 Project Brief- Boost brand awareness by updating visual branding. New products were in development and updated packaging was needed to create more uniformity across the brand. OM4’s goal was to increase awareness while increasing Spa retailers and gross revenue through digital channels with emphasis on social media.
1. Inspiration. Inspiration was pulled from brands with a wide selection of product that felt cohesive, relatable luxury lifestyle imagery, and layouts that balanced type and imagery.
2. Design mockups. Due to time constraints I went right to high fidelity packaging design mockups. I provided the initial layouts to the client and received minor feedback to one option that they preferred.
3. Packaging samples. Once I made revisions to the initial layouts, I applied those changes to 52 primary and secondary packaging layouts. Additional packaging pieces were added later on and included a ‘belly wrap’ for a travel bag.
4. Updated Instagram. I shot lifestyle product images and selected stock imagery that fit within the look of the inspiration board. I also created a series of icons to use across digital channels to emphasize the collection colors and bring in some modern elements to balance out the imagery.
5. Updated layouts. I put together a series of ad placements that brought all of the design elements together to show how they would interact for the client, and how the in-house team could create additional layouts without a detailed style guide.
