Satisfaction Predictor: LinkedIn concept
As part of a design challenge, I was tasked to come up with way of better presenting job opportunities to passive candidates on LinkedIn. The key hypothesis I was working off of was that passive candidates are already very satisfied at their current roles and had very little incentive to engage with recommended jobs on LinkedIn.
I came up with a solution that prompts these candidates to take a quick two-question survey that then generates a predictive satisfaction rating in the recommended jobs they see. The system works by aggregating the data of what current employees are saying about their own satisfaction levels at their jobs and matching it to the user's own self-reported ratings of what they find fulfilling in a role.
This concept is then leveraged on screens like the My Network tab where users see highly matched ratings in their connections and in the Jobs tab where users can filter jobs by satisfaction scores.
