Daily UI #030 | Pricing

I've noticed that there are websites where we can take a subscription on a service or product. Often there are different tiers. Which means one subscription comes with the base functionalities, and the more expensive subscription has more features included.

Though, comparing which subscription has which features is sometimes a painful process.

Say when comparing the items in the form of a list, it can be easy to overlook them—which in the worst-case scenario could result in the user getting the wrong type of subscription. I've also noticed my eyes were rolling continuously from the left to the right side of the screen to compare the differences between the subscriptions. Doing this is very tiresome. And can lead to irritation.

Now today, I've practised my UI skills again by designing a solution for the problem stated above. What I've done is to cross out the features that are not included in the lower tier subscriptions. By doing this, I avoid confusion about which features belong to which subscription. I also used smooth micro-interactions to make this more apparent.
