Gleemonex
My contribution to the Gallery 1988 show "Product Placement". This 2 color screen print is a fake advertisement for the anti-depressant wonder drug; "GLeeMONEX". The idea behind the show was for artists to create ads for products that don't really exist except in movies, TV shows, etc. but pretend as if they were real. There should be no mention of the movie within the ad as to not 'break the 4th wall'. My piece was inspired by/based on the movie "Brain Candy" from The Kids in the Hall.
