DAILY UI 002 - Credit Card Checkout

Someone stuck a flyer with Earth on it next to my elevator, so I felt inspired to design something space-themed. Originally, I envisioned a credit card among planets, on a belt of stars. I sketched this design on paper and started making several planet icons, but my concept did not translate well digitally. After taking a break and coming back to it, I moved Mars up and got rid of some other design elements.

I opted for a simple interface, with the amount spent, user's name, and card number displayed on a virtual credit card. A functional swipe button emphasizes the astronomical theme and ensures security.

Today's takeaway - don't be tied down by what's in your head; move things around and see what new ideas you can think of!
