Lunar New Year Poster Design - Fireworks & Motorbikes in Vietnam

Happy Lunar New Year! I created this poster design from a photo I took of the Tết fireworks exploding over the Saigon river. I love the gritty, urban, analog feel that comes from photographing Saigon with a vintage lens.

I paired the imagery with gritty street-inspired typography that mirrors the graffiti on the walls.

Tet is the Vietnamese name for the Lunar New Year festival or Chinese New Year. The festival is soon coming to a close!
