smetrics.io is a startup using machine learning to make predictions about customer behaviour. Businesses can use such predictions for more personalised and optimised marketing and to better manage customer related internal processes.

I am responsible for both designing and developing the frontend in React.js.

One of the most challenging aspects of working on data related or machine learning projects is incorporating all the statistics and data needs to the frontend UI. From user experience interactions such as communicating clearly the data requirements for model training, to just designing and developing the frontend to be able to properly display all the states.

Another challenging aspect is working with data visualisations (i.e. charts/graphs). Getting the code of a library to work as initially planned in the designs is harder than it seems.
