NEWSTART Landing Page MkII

Fictional News site landing page design I created using a dark background with a red and violet colour scheme. Number 2 of 3 designs I came up with for the landing page, each with it's own layout & Iconography.

In this design I incorporated the red as the dominant colour of the colour scheme by changing the layout to consist of 2 major columns on the left and the right, a red half and a dark half. I also tried to break of the blankness of the solid colours by adding coloured dots to the background of the dark half.
