Logo Idea

Trying to come up with a logo design for myself. I want to redesign my site soon and thought spending some time on making a nice logo for myself would be a good place to start. The use of this style of blocky negative space has been used before but I thought it would look nice as a small part of a site design and could even been used as an icon elsewhere. Let me know what you think and any suggestions you might have. Thanks!
