Ladybird Education website redesign

Ladybird Education wanted to update their website, a catalogue with hundreds of books, teaching materials, and videos. They had a few key requirements:

- Teachers wanted to access digital versions of the books they own, so that they could show the digital version in classrooms.
- Ladybird Education wanted the digital versions of the books to be downloadable, but not shareable.
- Ladybird Education wanted a more intuitive search method for their books.
- Ladybird wanted the site to be designed, so that they can integrate interactive content or other products (ex. audio and video) later on.
- Ladybird wanted an easily manageable back-end.

As the Producer on this project, I had a few key responsibilities:

- Determine the exact needs of Ladybird and their clients
-Prototype the "unlock book" component
-Prototype a feature that would allow the books to be downloadable and not shareable
-Determine best search criteria from user testing
-Determine best framework on which to build the site, then find 3rd party vendors that build on that framework (Bootstrap 3 is what we chose)
-Determine the scope from the above, and find a web design studio that met the criteria and remained within our budget (normally I would wireframe and prototype the website, but due to time constraints we had to go with a 3rd party for all that).
-Manage the project and make sure the 3rd party met their milestones.
