ABOUT THE COVER ART: our “Dangerous Prayers” series considers what happens when we ask God to search us, break us, send us, and unite us. Praying these prayers means being willing to face death—both figuratively, as we die to sin, and literally, if obedience might someday cost us our lives. But out of death, God always brings new life. This is represented in our artwork with symbols of death and life together.
