[Event Promotion] Young At Heart

I combined pre-existing elements (leaves, swoosh, background texture) with two fonts to promote an event for the volunteering organization I'm involved in. The event focuses on interacting with the residents of a retirement community, thus "Young at Heart."

Because the event is Feb 8, near Valentine's Day, I chose to go for a somewhat romantic palette. I originally had flower banners and different elements involved but they ended up looking too busy and having too diverse of a color palette that it was overwhelming to make cohesive. I simplified it, messed around with placement, and ended up with this.

Also....I love drop shadows (obviously).
