Alpaca Logo Design Direction

Working on a new logo for my freelance business. The name "ALPACA" alone is too simple. Sounds like a clothing line. Brainstorming with a friend and considering, "ALPACA DESIGN CO"

The Horseshoe "C" is a play I'm not sure about yet, but like where it's going. Maybe two less rivets?
