New needs
The original app was stitched together quickly and had some major drawbacks. The one clear feature for the new app was the ability to control the online backup. For the other stuff, we gathered feedback.

Insights
All the learnings came from the internal team — but still actual users of the app.

It turned out, that users:
🔘 Are slowed down due to unnecessary steps in the flow
🔘 Often take fewer photos than it's needed
🔘 Sometimes take blurry photos
🔘 Sometimes categorise the photos in wrong folders
🔘 Need pen and paper to keep track of what has been collected and what hasn't

Therefore, the first round of prototyping was focuses on tackling the issues above.
