When You Think of Home Poster
Not long ago I was asked to draw something depicting my interpretation of “Home” for When You Think of Home, a collective of artists creating posters to benefit Acres of Love.
I’m originally from upstate New York (Utica), but I moved away when I was 20 and most of my immediate family doesn’t live there anymore. I became an adult in NYC. Made a lot of great friends here. Figured myself out here. At this point it would feel weird to live anywhere else.
Prints of this poster and lots of other locations by other designers are available at whenyouthinkofhome.com. 50% of profits go toward care for orphaned children in South Africa via Acres of Love, 50% to the artist.
Visit whenyouthinkofhome.com/posters/lisa-champ if you’d like to purchase one.

The place where you don’t have to face being like everybody else. Rats race in the tracks but streets embrace those that think for themselves. Grind when everyone’s asleep. The torch that lights crazy dreams. Home is where you want to make it. So I flock with those who chase it.
