Management Today - Spot illustration

New illustration for Management Today. This one goes along with a column about the latest trite business jargon phrase “learnings.” Apparently, people are using this word in place of the word “mistakes,” because mistakes aren’t mistakes anymore but are an opportunity to learn. While I agree with this sentiment somewhat, it seems like a silly use of language and the word wizard who writes this column agrees. Though, apparently Shakespeare was known to use the word “learnings” more than once, so one is left to wonder if the Bard himself has come back to life and has found work writing business catchphrases.
