Koala Hug
The fires burning across the country at the moment are utterly devastating, and that’s an understatement. The loss of life, especially the native wildlife, is hard to comprehend. It’s touched everyone — from the volunteer firies on the frontlines, to the city dwellers (like myself) breathing in hazardous smoke.
Bushfires have always been a part of life here in Australia, but personally, I can’t remember it ever being this bad and for this long. Climate change is here and now.

However, if you don’t have the money to spare, share posts and news about the fires to raise even more awareness and hopefully encourage further donations. Blood is also needed, so visit your local Red Cross if you can.
