Daily UI #017 | Email Receipt

Day 17 of the Daily UI Challenge was greatly influenced by an article I read about neumorphism. I took today's challenge as a chance to play around with this new skeuomorphic style—about which some people say will be a trend in 2020 while there are others who say the opposite.

Either way, this style allowed me to visualise the feedback in an interesting way. An email receipt serves the purpose of order confirmation. In this case, the order has already been paid for. This is shown by combining suggestive iconography with the pressed state of the neumorphic button.

On top of that, I’ve added a call-to-action button which the user can use to take the next step: tracking the order. Since the tracking button hasn’t been pressed yet, its state is different from the completed payment button. This should indicate that the user can interact with the tracking button—and persuade them to take this step.
