Mahmoud Darwish Special Edition

This is a publication class project where students redesign a number of books for their chosen Arab poet or author. Mahmoud Darwish was a Palestinian poet and author who was regarded as the Palestinian national poet. Over his lifetime, Darwish published more than 30 volumes of poetry and eight books. His work has won numerous awards and been published in 20 languages. This special edition aims to highlight the diversity of Mahmoud Darwish's topics and his ability to merge love and beauty with struggle and cruelty. Arabic font by Mostafa El Abasiry.
