Daily UI #015 | On/Off Switch

For day 15 of the Daily UI Challenge I made an on/off switch that toggles between day mode and night mode.

The button itself is pretty straightforward. This type of switch button is easily recognisable as a switch since many interfaces use it. So, I had no reason to risk confusing the user by designing this switch differently—which would conflict with their mental model.

I did play with the animation of the switch by giving it a bouncy effect once toggled. This subtle effect should provide the user with that extra bit of feedback to help confirm their action.
