Solum Hiking Typographic Branding
A full typographic based variation of a previous logo design.
When a client is looking for a design I always try to make them understand all the intricacies that go into the logo.
To them something may seem plain or simple but in reality there are layers to a full design. Here I set the foundation for the design in the clean serif typography and the secondary sans-serif type.
From there I added letter manipulation based details to add the unique brand expression. The small changes with the "O" and the "M" are wait finalize the goal of the foundational choices.
It's always in the details...because the details allow you to express.
