Explorer Pass Secondary Logos

Series of secondary logos for the Denver Explorer Pass program. Each version represents a different cultural institution in Denver.

My concept for this series was to transfer the visual attention away from the suitcase image and towards the surrounding illustrations by eliminating its color fill (see slides 2-3 for a comparison).

These illustrations were created with ink and brush, and then colored in Photoshop. I've also attached a grid of the full series and some initial sketches.
