SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC FC - Logo Concept

Sacramento was awarded the 29th franchise in MLS.
As the team will be coming up from another league, I thought I would take a stab at designing my own new design for the team.
Symbols of the logo include:
- The Bear: Taken from the current team logo, also from the state flag
- The star, and 1850: The year Sacramento became California's state capital
- Colors: Coming from the current logo, but given just a small adjustment to be a little bolder.

I hope you all really enjoy this design. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
