Siempre La Guitarra Eigth Note 2020 Poster

Late 2018 I started to design custom posters for Siempre La Guitarra which is a classical guitar concert series. Last year the event had a Lumberjack mascot. For this next season of 2020, I updated the character's look and gave him a PNW hipster vibe.

The typeface used for the title and the dates are 100% custom. I designed the whole alphabet and numbers for this event. The notes wrapping around the tree are part of an actual tune that is used in the series.

I had a lot of fun working on this design. Everything is 100% vector and that pushed me to really think about textures and color choices.
