MacPherson Construction & Design, rebrand

Project Brief: The client has been in business for over 30 years & was starting to feel a disconnect between their existing branding & the homes that they were designing & building. The original branding had a very family-owned business vibe but didn’t quite match the high caliber homes that were being built. The project included a complete visual refresh of their logo, business cards, & a simple style guide that could be used to create future creative.

My Role, Graphic Designer & Art Director: I presented the client with initial research about their competitors & branding that matched the products. The client shared their preferences & I began work on 3 logo variations. One variation was selected with revisions & I then presented business card options & an initial style guide.

Results: Success was measured through client satisfaction. With the second round of logo options, the client was thrilled to select an option with only minor adjustments. After completion of the logo, business cards, & style guide, the client was so pleased with the outcome that they request Art Direction for their existing website that was being built by a 3rd party, as well as any other branding tips that I could provide.
