Evel Knievel

I was approached several months ago with a humbling challenge, assist in some freshening up of the Evel Knievel brand. To say I was honored is an understatement. American ICON, birth of the Daredevil and not to mention a staggering 400+ fractures. Man was definitely a Phenomenon! My first initial thoughts were to respect the era, type styles (hand painted lettering) and palette. After some initial research (feet up on desk watching videos) I had a clear idea of the three approaches I wanted to take. The custom lettering pieces and graphics here represent about a third of what I sent over. Finalizing details for a drop later this year!
