Reading Climbing Festival route markers / logo typography

Reading Climbing Festival consists of the finals of two separate climbing leagues. (Elevate and Winter Bouldering League.)

Both these leagues have set walls around the centre where the compeitions are taking place.

The concept for this tape was first used as a way to explore the logo typography as patternation. Then the practical application would allow the tape to be stuck to the specific walls where the competitions are taking place.

Making way finding for the festival around the centre easy to apply.

Then following this the idea behind the tape was that the specific routes that are being climbing as part of the festival, could be taped at their starting hold to make the route nice and clear to the climbers and the spectators.
